Hand-Painted Mug | Traditional Blue

Inspired by her childhood growing up in Southern Spain, Pomelo Casa founder Francesca de la Fuente embarked on an adventure to bring the unique hand-painted ceramic pieces her mother used to purchase at their local market to her new home, Los Angeles. Working closely with one of the small, family-run workshops in Granada, Spain; she is giving a new lease of life to the craft they have been practicing with the same traditional techniques and designs for over five centuries. And in doing so, hopes to bring the same joy, color and pattern to your home.

Before your first use, wash by hand in hot soapy water, rinse and air dry.

Dishwasher safe, however constant machine washing can be harsh on the glaze, so handwashing is recommended.

The base is unvarnished. This allows the ceramic to breathe and enables it to absorb and retain heat, so your food stays warm. However, please don’t put them in the oven!

They are safe to use in the microwave and fridge.
