Recognized as one of the world’s leading vegetable chefs, John Fraser has played a significant part in redefining the role of vegetables in American cuisine. Inspired by the rich culinary traditions of the Mediterranean, Chef John Fraser explores the cuisine of the Aegean at his new NYC restaurant IRIS. Drawing upon his Greek heritage and deep admiration for Turkish cuisine, he created a menu that suggests a sense of place, while leaving room for innovation and imagination in flavor, texture and presentation.

For IRIS’s airy and elegant dining room, we worked closely with the restaurant team to design a linen that complemented the interiors’ rich wood detailing, clean lines, and modern art pieces. The result – a confident blue + white striped napkin with rich navy edging that pairs perfectly with a Turkish flatbread, mezze spread and glass of crisp Sancerre.
